Karmic Bitchslap: Averted.

Remember those pricey Winsor & Newton paintbrushes that were stolen from me on the 23rd?

Matt nearly tripped over 'em on his way out the door this afternoon.

Someone left them on the ground just outside the apartment.

It wasn't the mail carrier; the mail carrier knocks. It also wasn't the building handyman. He knocks, too. This was done silently.

The box wasn't opened.

So... someone randomly snatched up the box from the mailroom, held it for three days without taking a peek inside, and then dropped it outside my door and snuck away. I think.

Now I REALLY don't know what the hell's going on.

But hey, no complaints here.

Perhaps somebody grabbed your FedEx box instead of their own by mistake and couldn't figure out a better way to give it back to you without looking like a dirty, guilty, rotten, no-good, mail snatching theif.

Glad you got the box back, for thems is pricey brushes.

Since my e-mail broken (god DAMN your-site.com to HELL), I just want to thank you for the extra goodies! I only needed a new Caput Mortuum pin, as mine decided to suicide off of my bag while wandering around Manhattan's Chinatown. Now, I have extra copies of all your comics that I can seal in mylar bags and sell as collectors items on eBay after you die.

And thi sis why you kick ass, Spike.

Spike my dear girl... when you get the chance, go revel in Da Vinci Sable brushes. While yes, I love my Windsor and Newton sables...and I would rather have my brains replaced with jello than not have them. Da Vinci's are... not *as* pricey, and in my experience they seem to hold a point better than Newton's. Go fig. Oh hell I'll bring them with me to Con and you can give them a test spin.
