i'm way jealous.
i think i would kill someone, or give a stranger oral sex, or sell a kidney (whichever comes first) for my own studio with expansive beautiful storage.

Wow, its hard to believe that someone would just throw something like that out. Then again with today's "on-the-go" society (aka lazy), we don't have time to gussy up our prexisting stuff. Why bother when we can just buy something new :S
I did take notice of the Lucas and Odessa pages. They are massive! What is the dimensions of the paper? While I'm here, I might as well ask what type of paper it is, and what kind of supplies you use? I've always been curious.

The Scavenger Gods were very very nice to me tonight, as well. I ganked what must have been like 10 pounds of tomatoes out of the Whole Foods "discount bin." Also found a dozen or so clementines, some yams, an apple or two, several bunches of bananas, and a butternut squash in good repair.
It may not keep my files warm at night, but I'm always down for some free fuel.

I'm actually staring at all the other storage you've got around there. And check out that drafting table! Are those cup holders?!

Wow. Nice studio! And free furniture is always good [white bookcase of my grandparents my aunt was gonna throwout=Instant Comic Storage!]. The SlideOut shelves must be really nice.
14x17? Those sound monstrous! They'd eat my 8x10 pages for lunch [who are resting in a pile of folders on a little white tower on my bureau with a big Peanuts book, surrounded by transformers. Fear my clutter!!!]
You're also the cleanest artist I've ever seen.

I've never found anything that useful. The curtains I filched out of a dorm trashcan don't even come close, although the bunch of peacock feathers may be cooler. Who throws away a clump of forty peacock feathers?

Hahaha... We have the same drafting table.
I can't believe you draw at 14 x 17. The scanning must be deadly.

I do -not- understand why my L+O pages are so goddamn huge. I've tried to draw 'em smaller, but I just can't. I have issues.
And don't be fooled by the general neatness of that one picture. My drawing corner is usually a monument of filth. Those are cup holders on the drafting table, but I use 'em for cups full of pens and pencils instead of tea or anything.
As far as the flat file goes, it's about five feet tall , and while I can push it around without too much trouble, damn thing's heavier than it looks. i've recently dressed it up a bit with some posters and such, but it's still too bare.
The supplies I use can the found under "A Brief and Uninformative Overview," in the Misc. section.
I'm tired.

We have the same issues. I draw largescale too. I'm just too ham-handed otherwise.
And that there looks like a dandy flat file, congrats!

I currently draw my comic at 11X14, to be scaled down to about 4.5X6 (or something). Not only does it look really nice scaled down, but it's much better on my hands. On carpal tunnel scare = too many.
But I bet 14x17 is a pain to scan, too.
