Zzzz.
Maryland was pretty much exactly as boring as I remembered. So I spent most of my vacation in DC.
This man can wear feathers in his hair. You can not. Ever.
The Smithsonian's new Museum of the American Indian was open. The combined siren song of arrowhead collections and Seneca fancy-dancing will doubtlessly inspire even further hordes of bored, fat, milky-white suburban girls to hallucinate 1/64th Blackfoot ancestry and adopt glamourous, charismatic "spirit guides." On the internet.
The Throne of Saint James was on tour, so I missed it. Alas.
Managed to almost entirely avoid the modern art in the National Gallery. Score!
And I only fell on my ass once while digging around the creekbed for arrowheads. A new personal best.
Also, Between the Dark and the Dawn, an Arcana Jayne comic I drew and Lisa Jonte wrote, went up on GAM. Make sure to catch all twelve loverly pages here.
Unfortunately, while I was gone, I let email pile up, couldn't send out minicomic orders, and forgot to update my Girlamatic comics. Sorry. That'll all be taken care of.
