As much as I adore Sparkneedle, L+O is my soap opera, so if you can, you should toss it into battle too. I think you've got a fighting chance.

Yeah, I took the plunge too: if only for the pleasure of knowing that the Eisner judges will have to rifle through 160-some pages of bad vampire puns.

Yeah, I submitted...
Nothing, but I feel really bad for the judges, because of the title-wave of pure crap coming their way.
None of you guys contribute to that, of course. But you know that for everyone one of us that says "I submitted..." a 10,000 Keenspacers, Drunken Duckers, Deviantarters, and other users of easy outlets for cel-shaded doodles did, too...

A 10,000? As in, A ten thousand? Sigh...

Yeah, you said 'title-wave" instead of "tidal wave". Unless you were actually being scintillatingly clever, and meant a literal wave of titles. And yes, criticising other people does make me feel good, fancy that.

Title-wave? What the fu...course I meant that! Isn't it a clever play on words HAHA?
Also, I guess I should tack on the standard "There are plenty of good comics on Keenspace" disclaimer. Hell, I've got one on it, and that's how I know there are plenty of bad ones, too. You have to admit that there are a lot of people smack in the middle of their "150 bad pages," badly in need of an editor, yet still considering themselves at the top of their game because they get a lot of traffic. And inviting them all to try and win your award is a hell of an undertaking...
