New Templar! Again!

...and this one's got lots of extracurricular fun I'm sure no one cares about. So let's just get it out of the way, shall we?

-- A real-life bagpipe/bucket boy duo did once perform in Harvard Square, Boston. I hear it actually worked startlingly well.

-- The bucket boy in panel one looks an awful lot like the opening act at the last Clutch show I went to, the very talented William Elliott Whitmore. That's only half on purpose. And you should probably buy his new CD.

-- All the dishes being mentioned are real. Some are regional specialties, one's a Roman emperor's favorite, and a couple were served only once for shock value.

-- Those guys in panel two are my favorite made-up subculture ever. I can't wait to get to them in more detail.

-- And I did not misspell "consumme."

Read it here. Have fun!

The great thing about buskers is you can have a guy on his butt with a TRAFFIC CONE to his lips, and he's still good enough to want to stick around and listen to for a while. I was bummed I didn't have any change to spare.

I linked to your page from God knows where, and enjoyed reading the comic. Your art is cleanly lined and expressive, with a very realistic quality. Not to blow smoke up your ass, but I think it looks great.
Playing with dolls is hilarious too. Thanks for taking all the messed up stuff about what people do in that game and giving it context. Minus rooms with no doors of course.
I will likely be an avid reader from now on. Sorry to write so much...

Wow! Thanks a lot, Charles!

And John, I feel the same way about an old Asian woman I saw in the subway once, playing that single-stringed sitar thing you always hear in the background of kung-fu movie "let's have a long discussion about honor and/or love in the idyllic garden" scenes.
