Brutally Judgemental. It's the new Open-Minded.

What would you do if you were sitting on the subway one afternoon, and you looked across the aisle, and there was a woman sitting there, and she was reading a NASCAR-themed Harlequin romance novel?

Because I know what I'd do. But I'd probably have to get off a few stops early after she noticed the camera flash.

I'd be disturbed... Embarrassed, 'cause, you know, when the Aliens (TM) come, they'll assume this person and I are not only the same species, but share the further similarities of nationality and gender.

If she made eye contact, I'm afraid I would probably give a long, sad sigh and slowly shake my head... I'm really not very tolerant of the stupid.

But surprised...? No. Sadly, not one bit.
