Templar: Merry Christmas!

I got a copy of Charles Burns' collected Black Hole, An Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Cartoons, and True Stories, some really good home made caramels, and some exotic teas! My husband got a video game about pretending to be a Cherokee on a spaceship, a humidifier, a Tom Waits album that I intend to steal, and World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War! Harvey the dog got a pretty little sweater and a little man made of fleece to chew on! What did you get?

Scipio probably got a headache.

I got a copy of 'Making Comics' that, surprise! has a little panel of Reagan in Chapter 5, as an example of brush work. That was pretty awesome to stumble across, having had no idea it'd be there.

I've heard AWESOME things about WWZ. I can't wait to borrow it from someone XDD
Daaaang Pippi is... obnoxious. XD You're so awesome at dialogue though, even when it's whining.

I got some argyle socks, some undershirts, a couple of cookbooks and a camera/microphonething so I can call from Thailand for free. I also got these cool insulated plastic tumblers with a patch between the walls, really cool and almost indestructible.

Plus my brother made some "Stolen" (swedish bread nut fruit thingee) so that rocked

Happy Holidays.

An electric trimmer set, a water pik, sweaters, socks, long underwear, scarves, jeans, a crankable flashlight, a gingerbread house kit, tons of candy, a lotto ticket I won $25 on, and a good bit of cash. Now I can buy Tom Waits' Orphans. Merry Christmas indeed.

You know, Spike, you are remarkably successful in making your characters real, in that I really am hating Pippi already. :)

I got Battlestar Galactica seasons 1 and 2.5 (had 2.0 already), Mario Kart DS, Children of Mana, a Target card, and some money. Good haul overall. :)

I don't feel like Pippi is that bad... then agian in high school I hung out with alot of kids that people just couldn't stand. they didn't bother me too much.
Most of them didn't really have friends becuase no one liked them... I guess becuase of this they lacked soceal grace.

So if anything I feel pity for Pippi... it's likely Scip does also... or he did.
I don't know.

Heh, what I am mentally thinking.

"Dear Pippi,

Go cry an emo tear.

Love, Bremma"

But yeah, that seems like a typical high school reaction for someone like her.. fighting and demanding one second, then flips and is begging and pleading the next.

I didn't get anything, but I don't celebrate. Instead, I went to Vegas with friends from Phoenix.

We went to the Price is Right show at Bally's and no fucking lie, I managed to get called down to Contestant's Row in the first round, which was awesome, since I got to bid on something, but crap because a) they rotate out the entire Row each round so that more people have a chance to win something, because it's Vegas, and b) like me and the two other losers with me know how much fucking crap telescopes go for these days. And that one chick who won, she bid a dollar. Of course she was gonna get it. But it's cool, because what am I going to do with a arcade basketball-toss, an exercise bike, some sort of patio chair and a globe that opens up to a wetbar, anyway? I mean, all I'd really want would be the globe.

I'm dying to figure out how Pippy ended up staying with Scip in the first place. In my head, elaborate scenarios keep playing out.

I got a bunch of clothes.
Gift cards
And Guitar Hero II, which I have yet to put down.

I got a large flat-screen computer monitor to further my enjoyment of online comics. Also to encourage the pile of mess on my desk to spread out and become more sociable.

Didn't know you were a Tom Waits fan - that's cool.

Happy goon year.
