Templar: What a buzzkill.

If that whole bodyguarding thing doesn't work out, Scip could have a long, successful career as a professional wet blanket ahead of him.

Think I'll skip sleep tonight and get started on the next page now. I'm just getting too far behind.

And remember, guys, all the stuff in my Spreadshirt shop still has FREE SHIPPING to the US and Canada with the "FREESHIPPING07" coupon code for the rest of January! Take advantage!

Now that Templar's thrice-weekly regardless of the tip jar, the jar's gimmick is kinda useless. I'll be fixing that soon. Something's in the works, watch for it.

Worst sellers are best, but who sells them? Also, what is that around the new chicks eye? Is is orange?

No, please don't skip sleep!

I don't want you to become burnt out and sick of Templar and go on a month long vacation from it that ends up being a half a year.

'cause that's happened to a couple of my favorite webcomics already when the person tries to do too much too fast.

Heh, also, with this current page of Ben accepting whatever happens, his disregard for obvious danger is really reminding him of me.

We're surprisingly alike, though my particular case this is deja vu'ing me with was lightly different, and the guy was Hindu.

I'm really looking forward to Ben a) meeting that guy again and b) finding out what really happened.

Also, Scip being a bodyguard suddenly seems rather... hopeful, heh, for Ben's future.

Knowing Ben he doesn't even really know what the Reclamation is...

Lovely page. And maybe for a reward is like... a sketch every 25 bucks. I assume you've probably got a few lying around somewhere so you could post them without exhausting yourself.

Well how about for 5-10 bucks, you do a pencil drawn, origanal, signed drawling with character of choice. I understand the time constraints the could make that difficult, but If you made it clear that it could take anywhere from a few days to afew weeks to get done, people might be okay with it. Then again, I guess another problem would be shiping...

Anyway, I doubt thats really a 'new girl', just some local in a book shop. As for whats on her face,... givin the lines making it look wrinkly, I think its a burn scar. As for why its there? Thats just spike doing what he does: Adding minut and seeminly pointless details to extras just to give it that 'everyday people on the stree' and not the 'cookiecutter' feel. Either that or a blotchy oops he made in the painting process he decided to keep.

Forgot to ask, but is the reason Ben taks meds becuse he is SEVERLY bipolar? I ask, becuse he seems to have shifted quite drasticly and reacting very oddly to things around him(i.e.- being happy a guy made him an acomplise and all that). Thats about how people I know that are really bad act to strange things(such as getting into an accident and why being tied to the stretcher yelling out 'Awesome! I can see my bone!'). Also, I'm a mild case of BD, and get kind of... hyper and reckless during the peek of my up-swings.

You just are asking all KINDS of questions I seriously cannot (translation: will not) answer yet. But I will say this: That mark on the chick's face is a birthmark. A port wine stain, and a pretty mild one, despite its size.

Oooh! Oooh! She's reading Amber's Confessions!

If that's Thoth's Copy Shop...I've been meaning to mention this for a while, but I'd love to see some reference to samizdat in there. When I read the strips about copy books, that's the first thing I thought of, 'cause that's pretty much what copy books are, without necessarily the hazardous political overtones.

If you've already planned that, then...don't mind me.

And, I tried to put a link to the Wikipedia article, but I guess you have HTML disabled...

Hee. I love that there's a shelf expressly for the worstseller list.

When I was doing a comic and decided to start working ahead, I had to have a guest week to give myself a chance to start building up a buffer.

You didn't really have a chance to get ready for the 3-update week before you decided to do it, so it might be worth it to throw up some filler sketches or guest art one day a week for a bit, and give yourself a chance to get ahead. Better than giving up delicious sleep, anyway.

K.C. - How is seeing your bone anything BUT awesome?!
