Templar: Panels like Grand Central Station.

Poor Flannery. Ray's very territorial. More Saturday, as usual. I suck, huh?

And thanks to everyone for responding to my previous extremely nosy post. I learned a lot, namely that my assumptions about who was reading this thing are pretty much dead wrong. Mostly, anyway.

I dunno, I just always pictured you guys as college freshmen. All of you. Like, universally. I realize that makes no sense, but it was what was in my head. It's cool to see how diverse the audience really turned out o be. It kinda gives me hope that I'm not as hopelessly niche as I sometimes suspect.

Well, If it's any consolation, I'm a university student. I love this comic, It's one of the most unique things I've ever read.

Hah! We ain't frosh! We're your loving audience of semi-mature adults. I bet almost all of us shower, even.

Yes, it's true, I showered just this morning! I should be good for another month yet. Saves on water, ya know.

This morning's comic made me snort in laughter. Hee! I love the movement in what is a static set up at first glance.

Hi, I'm Bethany. I'm around the web under various pseudonyms -- bornliar on deviantART, and aberration or cavedweller in a bunch of other places.

I have a day job as a textbook editor, but it's strictly a biding-my-time kind of day job. I'm kind of a renaissance slacker -- I do a little bit of everything but none of it all that well, except writing, which I seem to be stuck with so I might as well get good at it.

Well I'm kind of late on the uptake here...

If it helps, I shower every other day?

My name's Rachel, I'm a senior at a Jewish day school. This September I'll be a college freshman...?

The line that totally cracked me up was "Someone broke into your house and PAINTED you?" *snork*

And now we know what Scip's afraid the decal means. Hunh.

And, I'm sorry for not responding in the other thread, but I check in and find I'd be #87 on the list, and it seems kinda pointless, y'know?

astrophysics grad student. video game addict. fan of "revolutionary girl utena" and "star wars." passion for living beyond that of most mortals.

This is one of my favorite webcomics. please keep doing a great job!

Awesome page. Maybe I'm wrong but it feels like you sort of missed drawing Reagan and are now doing it with extra... I don't know ... gusto or something.

I know I would miss drawing Reagan.

Scip is a little...histrionic, huh? Look at those poses!

Oh yeah, I was a college freshman, but that was 18 years ago. I am old. OLD. But I'm looking forward to grad school next year.

I guess "ham" is the word I'm looking for. Scip's a big ham.

More Reagan please.

Well, you were close, I'm a sophomore. But more importantly I wanted you to know that this was the funniest page I've yet seen on your comic. By the time I got to the last frame I was laughing out loud really hard in the library and now people are pissed because I won't show them what's so damn funny.

Nice work

Between this and the hard time he was giving Ben earlier, I'm beginning to see why Scip hangs out with Ray.

... And for the record, I'm a mid-30's Art Director here. But now I'm honestly considering a part-time job at Good Vibrations just so I can one day use that inventory line on someone.

Well, I'm a college freshman if it makes you feel better.

And I'm getting kind of fond of Flannery and her gloves and her minicrush on Ben, even if I don't otherwise know anything about her.

Also, your art is as always absolutely fantastic, and I can't wait for the hardcopy to arrive.

I'm almost a college freshman? I'm sure if I close my eyes and believe with all my might, I can be! Clapping worked for Tinkerbelle, right?

Huhn. Now I wish I was something other than a college freshman. Young, financially challenged, wet-behind-the-ears students who get Honey Bunches of Oats all over their laptop and do laundry once a month when Febreeze ceases to be a reasonable option count for something, dammit. Represent.

I was a frosh, long long ago. I looked forward to grad school once, too. Now, having received more education than any being should, I've settled down into middle aged writerhood by showering at least once a month.

I adore your comic -- one of the best I've found on the web. Other favorites: Dicebox, Dylan Meconis' Family Man, Kris Dresen's work, Nowhere Girl, and others I'm forgetting at the moment.

Congrats on the wild success of the preorder!

Wow. I really AM a college freshman, so I guess your guess wasn't totally unfounded.

Do I have permission to tell my friends to go inventory the butt toys?

Poor Flannery indeed. She's very sweet in a mousy sort of way. Later we'll find out she's a Dom in the bedroom or has an unquenchable craving for human blood, yes?

Well, I'll be a college freshman in a couple months, if that makes you feel any better. I missed the last post, but... okay, well. I go to a little artsy high school in New York City. (I'm there because technical theater is my thing.) I knit and read webcomics, usually instead of doing homework. Recently I accidentally got myself into a Master's Philosophy program in Scotland.

I just stopped by here to tell you a lil story: I was on the subway the other day, reading all the ads to avoid making eye contact with anyone, more because really old people try to pick me up than because I'm antisocial. There were these four ads next to each other... "Carrying a loaded gun now carries a 3.5 year prison sentence. Period." "Assaulting an MTA official is punishable with up to 7 years in jail." "Miss Subway says: stand aside and let people off the train before you come on. It's the polite thing to do!" "Don't ride on the outside of a subway car. It may be the last ride of your life." Down at the other end of the car was an old sign for the Bodies exhibit. All I could think of was "We're trying to have a civilization here!"

So, wow, I go away for a couple days, and you post a tell me about yourself thread, and I totally miss the boat, and DEAR GOD there are a lot of replies. Since you've accused me of college freshman status. ;)

I'm a lurker, and an avid reader.

As mentioned earlier, I got here via Penny Arcade, which means that you can guess I'm a geek and enjoy way more games than any grown man should.

I'm 27, I serve in the United States Air Force, and I am sooo getting out of here in a year.

My personality is 'Not well suited to being a long term military member'. This means I'm honest, a smart ass, and don't know when to shut the hell up.

I, being a geek, work in an electronics field on ground radar systems.

My hobbies are wide and varied, from games, literature and art, comics, martial arts, Go (The Board game. Please, Please, ask more about it! I love to tell people stuff!), being pedantic, being lazy, movies, literature theory as it applies to alternative mediums (Webcomics, the differences between webcomics and a monthly released print serial, the differences between comics and a running series of books, the differences of movies and comics and books), and finding weird stuff.

Here's a new game for you. Type weird words in your emails in Gmail, to see what interesting adverts Google will give you to look at on your side bar! I got Corsets out of Waist Size today, so get cracking!

Anyway, again, love your comic, and thanks for putting it out on the web!

Another comic like right now! I'm so happy!

I'm really impressed with Reagan. I can't think of anyone I've considered attractively overweight before, but Reagan has this, like, godesslike charisma! Of course, in this strip she's just crazy, but that's great too. :)

Seeing that you really cared about us readers, I got inspired to write a little presentation of me and my freshmanship as well. Ahem.

I went to university in east Sweden, studied one year of psychology, went back to the west coast to work for a year. I was temp in schools and daycares, and I recruited supporters for Greenpeace. Then I went back to redo a failed course of psych. and a term of mandarin chinese. Now I'm back in the temp work, west-side, trying to max the Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test so I can read the full psych. program.

I'm a nerd and I write stuff. I like cats. I have a big hat. I do city walks in residential areas at night, it's all empty and rather beautiful.

*lurker comes up to periscope depth*

What a fantastic thing you make here for our enjoyment every week. this has become one of my most eagerly awaited updates on the intarwebs, along with schlock mercenary and achewood.

as for myself: i am a a soon to be 35 year old husband of a lovely and brilliant wife, father of two incredible lil boys who will likey conquer some country somewhere in later years, prior service US Marine, unemployed tech support drone, and now Michigan Air National Guard aircraft electrician in training. my hobbies include RPGs, tabletop wargames, and full contact melee combat.

thank you thank you thank you for this incredible world you are creating. i wish i could go visit and walk around the place for a couple'a days.

You may remember me from such Chciago institutions as Art Night. College, however, was a long, long time ago. What a wild, wide range of people you have in your fan base!! You can throw in as many bizarre cultural references as you like-- at least half of us will get them half of the time.

I work with a Flannery. Oh, how I wish I could tell her to go inventory the "fuckin' butt toys."
