I vote for the flashing. It's based on this train of thought: none of the true low people can like Tuesday because she looks down on them. Thus, they must like her because of her nude show. Perhaps, if I flash my balloons, they'll at the very least pay attention to me. At the very least, they'll stop orbiting around Tuesday for a little while.
Somebody mentioned in one of these chatboxes that Ben has very easily slipped into two social circles already. It's amazing what you can do if you listen very carefully, are polite and nice, and don't assume anything. It's generally speaking the modis operandi I use when I have to interact with total strangers.

That's my point, Alissa. For all that Ben is insecure and shy, he's naturally quietly personable. Almost entirely unoffensive. And unbeknowst to him, he's hit upon an easy way of making friends.

Okay, I failed at High School Social Dynamics. Would someone mind explaining what just happened? Is Curio not invited to lunch or is she upset that her friend is more social than she? This is why I like tools more than people. The T-reamer never gets pissed off that it doesn't get used as often as the cordless drill.

As I understand it, Unistrut, Curio was under the impression that she had the ear of the low people, that she was one of them, and therefore the one they would like more than Tuesday. Basically she brought Tuesday down to the Diesel rink (or would it be arena?) to show off her friends, and bring Tuesday down a peg or two. When Moze starts hitting on Tuesday and she invites everyone out to lunch, offering to pay nonetheless, and everyone accepts, Curio's plans have been crushed because now Tuesday is more of a low person than she is. This is, of course, all seen in Curio's slightly whacked-out perception of people and how they interact - for everyone else, except possibly Scipio, who seems a little wary of this turn of events, this is just an opportunity to go to a free lunch with a chick that goes nude on television (or a webcam...I'm still a little murky on how Templarverse TV works).

Nah, Curio's invited; it's just that Tuesday has usurped "her friends" and her plans for the afternoon in one fell swoop, not to mention welcoming someone Curio has a mutual detest-fest with despite her protestations. She's being marginalized, when she was planning on being the leader for the day.
Tuesday IS better at sizing up and reaching out to people; I get the sense it never occurred to Curio that a simple way to get people to warm up to you is to feed them...
