« Templar: Winding down... | Main | Templar: Chapter Three! »

October 24, 2007

Templar: Probably not in the political prisoner wing.

And that's it for the Elliotts. What sweethearts. I'll miss 'em, I will.

Starting on Friday: And A Stick to Beat the Devil With, chapter 3 of Templar, Arizona. Coming up: Flashbacks, poor fashion choices, the rings of Saturn, and bad television. Stay tuned! And if you haven't voted in Webcomic Idol, please do! Me an' Lucid TV are turning into Ali/Fraiser, it's getting interesting.

And oh, yeah, more mystery sketches. Shhhh. Don't mind me.

Also, John Swaine: Your orders came back on me! Did you change your address? Let me know!

I am currently on dialup so it would take me an extraordinarily long time to go check, which is why I'm just going to ask: Spike, is Smart Elliot wearing the jacket that Doctor Radiumwater left in the street at the end of the last chapter?

I don't THINK it is, but I can't be totally certain.

That's most interesting to find out that John did time. It really makes me wonder what for - if it was something he was in for long enough for anyone to remember him, it was probably pretty "bad"

Didn't Numbers say she'd seen Barney John being arrested? One sec, I'm gonna go check the archives -

.....

OK. Not exactly; she'd seen him dragged off her campus by security. Wonder if he's ever shouted "Don't tase me, bro!"
In any case, that's probably not the time he's done with Elliott there.

Re the jacket, it's about the right shape as the one in the street, but then Elliott said he found it in Riverview, not RiverSIDE. Dunno if that's a mistake or not.

I have a feeling we're soon going to find out how informative this intermission actually has been, even if it's not terribly obvious at the moment.

I sent you an email, no response and all that, but my question still stands, are chapter 1 & 2 named after songs by the band Clutch? or just a coincidence?
Track 6 on "Pure Rock Fury"
and
Track 3 on "Blast Tyrant"
respectively

There are no coincidences, Eddie.

And as far as I know, John Swaine has been at the same island paradise form months now, the rat bastid.

Eddie: If you can ever read any conceivable Clutch reference into something Spike does, rest assured that it is indeed deliberate. Her previous webcomic, Lucas & Odessa, included a Neil Fallon Highschool.

Gene always seems to be having such a good time. I love that. Beautiful page for the next chapter start.
