>the decision-making process that accompanies deciding which one gets access to the toilet
If I ever own my own home I'm going to remodel the bathroom so that the toilet is next to the bathtub. Just in case that ever happens to me.
Glad you're feeling better!

"I can now describe the sensation of multiple bodily orifices evacuating simultaneously, and the decision-making process that accompanies deciding which one gets access to the toilet."
This is why I always have a small trashcan in the bathroom in case this ever happens... again. It's about the worst feeling in the world, though.
I'm interested in seeing what Dr. Bash is getting at in this comic.

Yeah, we lived in an apt that had a sink close enough to the toilet to handle that sort of "incident." So that removes the mental debate over "resource" usage. It leaves the "Am I going to die/I wish I would die" debate to rage during the event itself thought.
Dell is stinky. It's CD/DVD drives ALWAYS fail - generally within the first 13 months. I've moved to building my own machine out of good quality parts. A fairly cheap option that still results in quality. Especially since you're machine isn't loaded with all the crap software that's usually jammed into your system.
I'm sure someone would help you out in that area for cost (or even barter). But Dell... Yeah. Friends don't let friends buy Dell Computers.
Glad you're back in the land of living!

The bum always gets the toilet. Always.
Grats on the keenspot linking, I hope that works out well! And so glad you're feeling better.
More stories about Dell breaking down, eh? My hubby is looking to buy a computer and way eyeing Dell deals. I'm desperately trying to veer him away from it. Never had good experiences with them either, personally.

been there, done that. at least i didn't have to go into work....it was horrible. garbage cans next to toilets are ALWAYS a must.
thankfully my bug was only a 24ish hour deal.
good to see you're up and going again! :)

If this ever happens to me, and god forbid that it actualy does, I'm kind of lucky - I got the toilet, the sink and the tub pretty much all lined upp next to eachother, and - just in case - of course there's also a trashcan.
This way, regardless of the amount of orifices, I'll not have to make any decisions whatsoever in that regard =)
Glad you're feeling better btw.

See, ya... I can totally relate to the flu bug you are describing...
Even worse is having to clean it up later.
