Okay, I withdraw my previous theorization about her being up to no good. I, in fact, am an amateur astronomer and I do THE EXACT SAME THING, only with a projection box attached to a telescope eyepiece. And yes, paper plates make a great template for doing sunspot mapping.
And I like beer, too. Doing science+Drunkenness= Teh awesome.
Oh god, I think I'm falling in love with a comic book character. Lord help me....
