In case some of you didn't already know, I mummified my pet rat, Beavis, in a modified, ancient Egyptian, New Kingdom style a while back, and posted a walkthrough with very, very NWS photos here. Well, poor ol' Beav recently received a brief mention on the August 10th episode of thisisaknife, a BBC 4 video podcast. You can watch for him here.
The pacing of the scrolling to your guys' thumbs up is pretty grand.
A recent strip of "Monty," a syndicated comic, had a minor character purchase a pyramid at the local new age store for her deceased hamster. Made me think of Beavis.
I just recently had a rat of mine move on to the next life. I sort of wish I saw this site before I buried her. Very entertaining and informative guys!
What a great document. The fact that you went through all that to mummify Beavis shows the ratty love. It's very sweet, in a disturbing kind of way.
This is really cool and my teach said we can do it. How do all those guts fit in that little body? anyways...this it awsome.
