IT IS SNOWING.

WHY.

KNOCK IT OFF, CHICAGO. YOU AND THAT GOD DAMNED LAKE, I SWEAR TO GOD.

...

And hey, while you're reading... if I wanted to, say, hire a comic artist to draw a series I scripted, where would I look? I have no idea how to go about this, I'm used to doing everything myself.

And yes, this theoretical artist would be paid.

Warren Ellis' ENGINE has a section devoted exclusively to that purpose.

Also, trolling SPX.

Hmmm...it depends on the style of art you want too. Drawingboard.org is full of artists, but most of them draw in the mainstream superhero style. They often get postings looking for artists, but very rarely is any actual payment offered (it's usually "hey, my story will be good for your portfolio", or, "you will be paid once I become rich and famous by your talent and hard work"

Minneapolis too. WTF, Midwest.

(I'm like, "AH COME FROM THE LAND OF THE ICE AND SNOW," except in reverse.)

Holy cow you got that right. I'm north of the lake just outside Toronto... and it's not even effing Halloween yet!

it snowed for like a half hour here.

and i was living in chicago right around the start of winter time last year. i went to school downtown and i had to take the bus home because i didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for the train that first time it snowed really bad, it took me like two and a half hours to get from like state and washington up to like broadway and montrose. where a bendy bus (as i like to call them) had slid off the road and almost crashed into a currency exchange. it was then i decided i hated the lake during the winter.

could always try the forums on deviant art..
what art style are you looking for?.. maybe I can help? *draws often.. hehe*

Oh, wow, Hi? I stumbled upon your comic today and I have to say, I'm addicted. I read through the entire thing in one sitting and I cant wait to see more!

Okay, well, I actually found it through your rat-mummification thing. I usually cant stand to see animals dead or hurt or anything but I actually read through the whole thing and I have to say that I think I could take it because it was respectful with light humor. It was very interesting too, aside that... and reading over that, it sounds so formal and blah. I really dont know how to explain myself. gj;lkwlgh. Phew.

Ramble ramble, sorry.

Anyway, basically just stopping in to say Hi and that I adore your comic, now. Wish I could contribute more to the topic at hand. Eek.

Spike:
