I should go three days a week permanently. But then I'd probably die.

Well, don't die. That'd be bad, for a multitude of reasons.
Honestly, when I see the Reclamationists I don't really see a socialist/unionist utopia organization. I see something possibly closer in relation to a kind of artist's revolution, similar to what was going on in the 1920s with painters and writers. Only instead of trying to inspire the changes they wanted, they actually go out and do it - though I have a bad feeling this isn't going to end well.
And where do the regular crew fit into all this? I'm loving these subcultures to pieces, but I miss Ben and "Raygun" and all the others. I can't wait to see how everything's going to get interconnected.
Dieing would be bad. In fact, I was getting all maternal and worried about you last night when I didn't see a new comic. I was thinking "Oh Spike, don't put off posting, because it will make you crazy at the end of the week and it will become a chore". As a champion procrastinator I know how it can get. But maybe I'm being as much selfish as maternal, because I hope you keep having fun so that I get to read more Templar.
If your death doesn't interrupt the flow of the story, I'm okay with it. Also "first time everytime" made me snicker, aaand...
I guessed the name! Go me!
weooo! keep it up
Alan: The old familair cast members are coming up in a few pages, I promise. This stuff actually ties in to their lives on a personal level. As much as I like showing all of Templar's subcultures, I avoid parading 'em around in the main storyline unless they actually have something to do with the story itself. (That's what the Intermissions are for!)
And yeah, Reclamation isn't all candy and roses, as much as its participants might like it to be. That gets expanded upon, later. Paving stones on the road to Hell and all that.
And thanks for the encouragement, you guys. :)
I'm really enjoying this comic so far... and not just because I live in *coughhellcough* AZ
I don't know if it's because of the juxtaposition of the very realistic characters and the surrealistic landscape.. or if it's because of the Robert Graves reference in one of the panels and it made me giddy and all gleeful .
Ummm sleep is good..
Your comic rocks..
Mmmmmm sleep.
!!!
Holy crap, someone noticed! Awesome!
In Reclamation's case, are they literal paving stones?
Probably. Biodegradable, eco-friendly, fair-trade-certified ones.
