Why do these two even stay friends? Oh, wait, they're not really friends. We've talked about this.
Believe it or not, you're not supposed to hate these two. They're just giving everyone a really, really lousy first impression. Gimme a couple more pages, you'll see what I mean.
Jeez. All the phone conversations in this comic are really uncomfortable and hostile, aren't they.
Back to work...
Actually, that captures the feel of most of my experinces with talking on phones.
Also, I know It's a real thing, but I can't seem to remeber what it sounds like. What exactly is 'Funk' Music? Random? yes. Important? Most definatly not.
Will I obsess over it till no end and and not be able to eat or sleep until I know the answer or go into some form of a hypoglysimic coma, which ever comes first? Consulting the magic '8-ball': "All signs point to yes."
I actually think Curio is an interesting character. Tuesday, on the other hand, is a bitch.
K.C.: Think George Clinton and "I'm Black and I'm Proud"-era James Brown. I was kinda going for an abusrd, but not too over-the-top genre that people couldn't help but arch an eyebrow at when a young, mildly ditzy chick claims she's in a band dedicated to it.
And Ed: Not too far off the mark. At all. But even Tuesday has her redeeming qualities... hidden as they might be.
I think I've met Curio. On at least six separate occasions.
