I updated when I wasn't supposed to. Don't tell.
Y'know, this is why I don't think I'll ever be too sure about Templar's update days. Some weeks, I just feel like updating three times, whether the tip jar demands it or not. (But... it sure would be nice if you guys threw me a bone, anyway?)
I think I'm just in a good mood because my birthday is on Saturday, and I'm getting a puppy. A mutant puppy.

He hasn't got any fur, see? But that's on purpose.
I also found out the deal with the eurocomic I was babbling about, the one about Australopithecines. It's by Liberatore, who's better known for his Ranx comic in Heavy Metal. It's gonna be called "Lucy" and you can see some art here.
Gotta answer email, now! And blog comments, too. Bye.
Vinland. Type O Negative ref? Probably not. More like what ol' Lief Eiriksson called North America when he got here.
But I can dream.
Just a Leif Eriksson reference, yeah. "Vinland Pemmican" is a breakfast cereal that's based on a violent kid's cartoon in Templar, called "Sky Vikings and the Thunderbird Tribe," about Native Americans and Vikings slaughtering one another in amusing ways in ancient Vinland.
Ahhh. I see. Thanks for the quick reply. I just got into your comic and I keep checking back all the time for new pages.
Brilliant stuff.
Thank you!
Your birthday is Saturday? As in the 18th?
Mine too! I get to turn 21. Whee! Happy birthday!
Interesting how all of Ben's clothes are much too big for him. I wonder if they're all hand-me-downs? Or if he lost a ton of weight before moving to Templar...?
Mmm, Liberatore. He does amazing things with markers. My husband got me a poster he did for a Frank Zappa record. Zappa as Ranx. It's awesome.
I gotta say, those dogs are mighty ugly. So ugly they're cute, but still ...
Since Ben is a run away his clothes could be stolen or aquired from homeless shelters. He does look like a bit emaciated, though.
BTW, happy birthday, Spike, and congrats on your mutant puppy! Is he/she a Mexican Hairless? You're gonna need a lot of little dog sweaters...
Or a good tattoo artist http://www.centripedus.com/afa/page12.html
:D
On Seinfeld, the producers or costume guys or whatever made Kramer wear clothes that were too big for him, to make him look more "goofy".
I would not, however, describe Ben as "goofy".
No, he's not. If anything the big clothes make him look childlike (and very huggable).
OH! And that's a damn cute mutant puppy. Whatcha gonna name it?
I probably would be allergic to that type of dog.. but it's still not that cute.. but then again I'm really not a pet person.. I do love horses though.. and wolves.. beautiful creatures they are.. but not pets.. I've got kids.. I don't need pets.. besides, our lease says we cant even have something as simple as a goldfish!
I, for one, welcome our new hairless dingo overlords.
I'll look over the fact that the 'hairless dingo overloards' our being praised by one with a name VERY simmaler to that of a cats genius name.
I'll look over the fact that the fact that you can't be allergic to a hairles animal just because your alergic to the non-haired breed(complicated reasoning about sweating less and nowhere for thier oils to stick to[essence of dog?]).
I'll even look over the fact that SOMEone posted early with careing to mention it to me><.
And why do I look over all of these things? To say happy birthday, I suppose.
P.S.- Now THAT is court TV as it should be!
Oooh... I missed the link. He (or she) really IS a mutant puppy. Congrats on your AHT, Spike. Please post lots of cute pictures of him/her in little clothes. :D
that should have said WOULD NOT.. be allergic too..
thats what i get for being tired!
Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Argh, my ug-dorable dog's arrival was delayed by frost in Louisiana. IMPATIENT. Hopefully he'll show up Sunday.
And Jaz, I've see that artist's work! I love the tattooed pig. Too bad that story has such a crappy ending.
