New Templar, now with a guaranteed work-around for people with stubborn DNS problems!

| | Comments (23)

Everyone who can see the current pages can find Saturday's new page in the customary place. However, everyone with persistent problems... you guys seem to be stuck on the page with Bill falling in the window onto Ben, right?... can find all the latest stuff here, in a thread on Iron Sideshow, my forum. This should definitely work, cuz these pages are hosted on my private webspace instead of the WCN servers.

I'll keep updating that thread until WCN starts displaying properly for you guys.

...

Man, I'm tired.

HAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOD THE ARM-SHAVING

He shaves everything. I'm sure of it.

Everything.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Well, face it, once you're in arm-shaving territory, leaving any other stray patches of body hair would just seem incongruous!

What a girl.

I just think you can't resist drawing your male lead characters in various states of undress.

Don't worry. I'm equal opportunity.

I'm sure he has a good reason to shave, uh, everything. Maybe his...arm hair gets caught in his chainmail. Or it make him feel pretty.
Teehee. Pippi.

ALSO: Is his chicken sleeping on a wig? 'Cuz that looks like hair and I doubt it's someone's severed scalp.

I don't think the chicken is sleeping on anything.

Also, to the 'What a girl' comment from molly, alot of pro A.Football playeers shave thier arms and legs. As do pros in many other sports(ecspecialy swimming). It helps decreses drag and increse your aerodynamacy.

That chicken (dove?) is nestling its head on it's breast, I think.

eek, accidental apostrophe above, I swear.

I dunno. It's probably NOT a wig, but there's a difference in the style of the lines and shading from chicken to thethingthechickenison. Specifically, the chicken's design is soft, with rounded edges and simplified curves, while the thing has has long, sloping lines that end in sharp, elongated points.
I'm thinking way too hard about this.

That's the chicken's fluffed-up breast feathers, yeah. Sorry if I didn't make it clear enough...

that chicken is awesome.

Back after 8 days on the East Coast...whew, a fun backlog to read!

Where is Pippi, exactly? Perhaps off committing acts of riot instigation?

Perhaps being bitchy withangstin her room again? The world may nevr know.

P.S.- I am thinking of the right girl, right?

Mmm...love this comic, soo good!

Besides that, I have gained a new appreciation for the amount of work you do Spike. Having to complete this final project for my Drawing class (a drawing of my own face and then things about myself in the background) under a time line (and it was even a long one [two weeks]) it's a lot of work, or atleast it feels like it (so much ufcking shading!).

So thank you for all the time you put into Templar, it really shows, and I love to read it. It's good times, for sure good times.

P.S. Guys with shaved everything's are hot (though you gotta love a good Treasure Trail). I just felt that needed to be said, there's something wonderful about a shaved guy, all smooth, and muscly, and...and...smooth! :D

I'll just imagine bot hands are firmly planted on the key board there....

On a second note... I will never understand the fasination with 'Tresure trails'(I assume they are the same thing as 'Happy Trails, but a differnt name). I just can't imagine what is appealing about those. Maybe its the fact I naturally have one that makes me immune? I don't know. Just seems odd to be attracted to a thin line of hair down a guys chest...

i dunno, maybe spike likes her boys like i do. hairless. nothing wrong with that.

also, first comment ever here, and i have to say, this is a damned fine diversion. keep up the good work.

scott

Oh, I love the shreik and OH MY GOD COVER MY NUDY-BITS pose XD

K.C.: Speaking as someone with a treasure trail, let me say that treasure trails (happy trails, whatever) or like the wrapping on a gift. It doesn't tell you what's in the box/at the end of the trail, but you just know it's gonna be really good, and that get's you all giddy. That's what Treasure Trails are, you know where they lead, and you imagine the "good times" that can be had, or something to that extent. I don't think I'm that good at explaining it beyond the wrapping around a gift metaphor. Some people like their gifts straight forward with no wrapping, and some like the suspense before they get their present.
