I love this page. Scipio looks so freakin' enormous. He could probably kill Ben by accident by tripping and falling on him, like horses do at equestrian competitions. THUD. Which is perfect, because Ben's just about jockey-sized.

Although, probably not TOO tall. Just a little bit shorter than him, in fact. And maybe not quite as smart.

I dunno why these never caught on as cool footwear. I think they're really neat. I also don't know where a massive, hulking guy like Scip gets shoes like this in his size. :D I imagine they run pretty big, though, since boxers do, too.
FACT: In the past, years ago, I drew Scipio wearing boot-cut Chuck Taylors BEFORE THEY EXISTED IN REALITY. (Look at me, I'm psychic!) I changed 'em when boot-cut Chucks came out for real, to avoid looking real-world trendy.
... the image of Ben riding Scipio with a crop is not recommended for people with hangovers or Monday mornings.
That said, I know what sketch comission I want now ;-)
