Sorry, guys.

I sincerely apologize for the pun. I really can't stop myself sometimes. IT'S A SICKNESS, OKAY.

In other news, I've officially had the First Big Speed Bump with the Pre-Order Project. That's the bad news. The good news is that it's not my fault. Sort of.

More on that after I get some sleep.

Bonus Comic Madness!

I dunno if you guys care about this sort of thing, but I've started posting my older comics (2004, 2005) over on my ComicSpace. The first one up is a little ridiculous thing called Gazelle. I'll post more comics when I find old junk worthy of sharing.

Or, y'know, just get sufficiently desensitized to my hideous older artwork.

But hey, what's ART, anyway? I mean really.

Sorry again about last week, guys. But on the plus side, I should have a production journal update ready for you, soon. I've been pretty busy.

Just one of those weeks..

In case you hadn't already guessed, Templar's not gonna update this week.

It's entirely my fault, of course. I apologize for that. but on the bright side, maybe I'll catch up and stop dumping stuff on you guys on Saturday, huh?

Templar: He's not hard of hearing.

Just socially abnormal.

Pardon the delay on this page's shading. Busy weekend, what with the Templar footnotes, the new cover, and other annoyances. Expect an update to the production journal soon!

Her parents weren't expressing Irish pride, there.

I lifted that name from Freakonomics, by the way. The author, at the end of a chapter containing an exhaustive analysis on the naming trends and conventions of poor, rich, white, and black Californians, claims that he suspects "Flannery" is poised to be the next decade's "Emma." We'll see, huh?

Anyway, back to work. You guys have another page due tomorrow, and I intend to deliver.

Who here thought that mousy little voice on the previous page was gonna turn out to belong to Gordon? Show of hands!

Pre-Order Project Update!

Hey guys, I promised to keep you posted about how Templar's jump to print is coming. So, here ya go: A new entry in the production journal.

God damn, but some of that old art was ugly. Also, I managed to somehow avoid saving the color versions of two pages, and had to recolor them entirely. So intelligent. But everything's taken care of, now. Another step to tick off of the list.

For the remainder of the week: An ISBN number, sketches, emails, and two pages of Templar. Stay tuned!

Templar: THERE she is!

It's taken her 46 pages, but she is, indeed, in this chapter. She's got some really fun stuff coming up, too. Rejoice!

Now, to work with me on cleaning up old pages and getting started on commissions. Lots to do. Remember to check out the production journal from time to time for future updates!

Maybe I'm exaggerating. But I wouldn't want any boss I've ever had to catch me lookin'.

No bets on who you guys think they're here to see. No house on Earth would cover those odds.

And in case I haven't mentioned it before: Templar will definitely be going twice-weekly only for the duration of the the preparation for print. This weekend will probably be my first hardcore prep period, so watch for updates to the production journal then.

And hey guys, I got nominated for three Webcartoonists' Choice Awards! I'm pretty darn special, I am. Vote for me! My self-esteem demands nothing less than total victory!

(oh god so alone)
