So yeah, there IS a point to introducing these two. They have a purpose, other than being a vehicle for cruelty and sad pug faces! REJOICE, this comic isn't as random and disjointed as you were dreading!

Already posted in the previous thread, but just wanted to say, this comic is makin' me happy.
Okay, the pug is seriously starting to creep me out a little.
Awww. Gene saying "I'm not retarded" made me smile. It was cute. I can't wait to see who Bo is too.
Gene's comment made me smile too. I love him. I think he is my favorite character thus far. (Especially the Gene-Zoradysis interactions. Epitimy [sp?] of cuteness!)
I don't know if you're doing this intentionally, but the fact that you have TWO happy, burly black men carrying around a magoo chicken (roosters are classical sex symbols) and a magoo pug (In classical paintings, a young woman with a small dog symbolizes sexual longing...and pugs are one of my favorite breeds) as pets and confidants is oddly endearing to me.
That, and I think I'm beginning to look forward to Sunny opening his mouth and speaking almost as much as Reagan. "Skipped practice to get AIDS..." I ruined the bloody monitor, dammit!
I like how Sunny pronounces the logo. And the possibly-intentional resemblance to Bert.
I like what Sunny says, "you're musicians, musicians are retards. sure I play an instrument, but since I suck I'm not a musician!" But I think I understand, he isn't really a musician, he's a hockey player but since that's been taken away from him... the thing he's really good at, well of course Sunny's pissed, I probably would be too.
But....But...
I like chaotic, disjointed things.
Like burning copies of Jackson Pollock paintings, and flashmobs.
Why can't Templar be more like a flash mob?
I love that, for all his vitriol, Sunny can't help pronouncing the logo, ornamentation and all, of his band.
I'm beginning to suspect Sunny of having tourrete's syndrome. If not then the filter between brain and mouth is very very thin. With large gaping holes.
It makes him strangley endearing. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him!
Also. The pug is frightening.

I think I'm just going to have to quit reading your comic for a few weeks. I have such a hard time following it. Please don't get me wrong, I LOVE YOUR COMIC! I just never understand what's going on until ten pages later.
Probably one of the reasons I like it so much. I'm a sucker for continuity.
