Templar: INFODUMP

Gotta be careful, this is starting to look like plot!

Sorry about skipping Monday, folks. I forgot my notes at home and couldn't draw the page. You forgive me though, right?

I say "at home" cuz iI spent the weekend at Minnesota's Fallcon. It was a great trip, and I had a great time. Hi to everyone I met, not limited to but including Abby, Tyler, Joe & Chris, Meredith, Allison, Jilly, and Kurt. And to people I saw again, like Paul! Wow. Stayed busy.

Todays vote sketches are a con commission and a diptych, both of which I go into greater detail on over on my DA account. So hey, there ya go.

Back to work...

I had to get up at the crack of God's ass this morning to go job hunting and I was SO GLAD to see a new comic. IT PAYS TO GET UP EARLY SOMETIMES!

For those of you wondering, Spike really does sound like she does in those sketchcasts!

... or maybe not, I don't know. It was a pretty typical October day in Minnesota (read: inexplicably hot and humid) that Sunday, and there were hundreds of people packed in an un-air conditioned building, so my memory may have, uhh, melted.

Still, it was nice to meet you. And Dirk. Can't believe I haven't checked out his comic until now. What the hell.

I have a question about the last one. Does heavy soil refer to dirt rich in clay and silt? Or are the y-fronts rich in... substances similar to clay and silt?

*waves* ^_^

Hey dude! It was great to see you again! :D

I am first clearly because I am the most awesome and not because I am alphabetical.

I just got my copy of the first volume in the mail, complete with a lovely, lovely Flora sketch. I didn't expect it to be the size it is, for some reason, and the first words out of my mouth to my housemate were, "Look at this! It's adorable!"

I'm totally stoked. I'm also the second person to have entered it on librarything. Glee!

I think it's been a while since I've said this, but you do painstakingly beautiful work with your inks and as a fan of manga and graphic novels done in black and white I for one would love it if you never went back to any shades of gray(not that there's anything wrong with that!).

I really, really miss playing with dolls! It's so good, and funny, and tragic, and ridiculous. Any chance there'll be any updates to that comic?

I think I have a crush on the girl in the goggles... A character who almost certainly has no name or identity beyond being a bit of background filler who will never appear again.

I hate it when that happens.
