Okay, Ben, okay, Seattle, all right, I THINK THEY GET IT NOW.
Maybe he's overdoing it a little... Do his parents think he's stupid or what ? A guy running away from home would have been careful not to leave any clues behind.

Ooh, I notice that Templar is now #1 at Webbed Comics!
And may I get Ben's number? He is totally my type ... my roommate keeps teasing me because these pages are just making me swoon.
@Wood: Maybe he doesn't think much of his parents' intelligence? Or maybe he's figuring that they'll just assume he was in a hurry and didn't think to cover his tracks. Maybe they don't think much of HIS intelligence? Maybe he's hoping that, whether or not they completely buy into it, it'll give him enough time to get far, far away? Or maybe he is just being too obvious ... who knows. Well, Spike knows.

is it just me, or do the feet in the last panel not look like they are wearing shoes? And if they are socks, then they're not Ben's socks. Is there a dramatic confrontation approaching?
It's just a pair of boots beside the door. You can see them in the second panel. :)
Good to know I'm not the only one who converses with my cat such. My roommates always give me such odd looks...
Patton reminds me of my feline, Lavender. And GOODNESS I can't wait to truck on up to Sugoicon in a few hours. :)

Hmmm... the feet by the door in the last panel look like they're in footies... which leads me to think it's a toddler come to hinder our Ben? Mebbe? I don't know.

There's nothing in those foot covers but air. If you look at the second panel, you can see the same boots to the right of the door and they are definitely empty.
