Two pages in one night, Wednesday's AND Friday's update. I am Iron Man. Here's today's.
I won't be here to tell you about Friday's, though. I'll be in New York, at the New York Anime Festival. I've never been, since it's never existed before this year, but I think things might go okay.
But hey, other that that: BIG NEWS, EVERYBODY. The December issue of Previews is out, at that means Templar is ready to be ordered through your local comic book shop! Hand the guy in charge of the pullboxes behind the register this number!
Make sure other people do likewise, too. This could be a big, big boost for me, if enough copies wind up being ordered!
Also, my official excuse for this hideously frantic last few days: My first t-shirt run. As in, mass-order of shirts. no more print-on demand stuff. This design will be premiering at the festival!

Bold statement about your faith in the march of progress, or sarcastic indictment of our over-medicated, ad-fueled scramble to buy into Big Pharm? YOU DECIDE.
Available in XXL, XL, L, M, and S. If you're not gonna be in NYC this weekend, pray that sales are sucky, cuz whatever doesn't sell I'll be offering online when I get back.
Speaking of stuff to do when I get back:
- Answer a metric buttload of mail.
- Catch up with people who's book orders have returned.
- Finish up commissions.
- Post a metric buttload of fan art.
- Start cleaning up chapter two for print.
- Post in my own freaking forum a little more often, maybe.
- Answer questions brought up in the blog.
- Sleep (optional).
- Build a buffer of at least a week for Templar (the impossible dream).
Gonna pack now. Bye.
As someone who is about to enter a pharmacy technician program simply because it is a reliable way to pay her bills ... I NEED THAT SHIRT.
Also, Scip ... wow. xD
Yikes! Hi, bye!
That would be the best TV show ever, at least for a few episodes.
oh optimus prime, PUHLEEEZE offer that shirt online, Spike. i want it like a crack whore wants crack. :<
Oh poor Zora! This is not unprecedented however. I don't know the details, but at a certain age many Muslim girls get all their hair chopped off and then have to regrow it. I suppose if you're a girl that could be a bit traumatic.
I would so watch that show.
I will be certain to give that number to the retailers I buy from. Good luck and have fun in NYC Spike!
Has... Has my book returned ? Because it hasn't arrived !
He looks like a little kid watching a cartoon show. Except, instead of a bowl of cereal, he has what appears to be ice cream. It's fully, but it looks like at least both these two watch their TV on laptop-like things. I can't remember seeing TV sets, but that's more a comment on my memory than their actually appearance or lack thereof.
Does Scip's TV-puter have a cool little Buddha decal on it? If it does, I want one.
I bet he's eating some kind of tapioca product. Or, like, mellorine. He seems like the type.
Ben has one of those laptop t.v.s in the mob goes wild page 19. So it must be one of those small changes in reality.
Speaking as a person who is currently taking 5 different medications for the same damn thing, I REQUIRE THAT SHIRT. If you sell out of it, I beg of you to order more!
At least Scip is showing Epiphany some backbone about SOMETHING. Good to know.
That's not backbone. That's obliviousness, pure and simple. He is not hearing a word she's saying.
This is so good. I love how Pippi is having a severe allergic reaction to Scip's dorkiness in the first panel.
And I can't even TELL you how much I wish this show were real.
Dear Scip: I love you. Forever.
I can literally hear Steely Dan singing that theme tune. Of course, that might be because they actually had a song called "Bodhisattva."
The box set? Do they have DVDs in the Templarverse, or are they called something else? "I have nullified your influence." Catchy, hey?
Hehe, scip in "the jerk suit", watching cartoons before he goes off to work. Pretty awesome.
So is Flatworm the staple brand for annoying shites everywhere in Templar?
