As Spike and I have been spending the past few days enjoying a really amazing influenza infection, I'm afraid I have to warn everyone of a delay in Templar updates, email correspondence, and whatever else she'd be working on now if she wasn't passed out on the couch with a fever. I'm thinking she'll be up and around by tomorrow or the day after, though.

I hear that Vitamin D3 is very effective at knocking out flus and preventing them from happening. Wishes for a speedy recovery, Spike, and props to Matt for being there to care for you. The rest of us will be standing by for more Templarific goodness, when you're ready to come back.

What's with *everybody* getting the flu this year? I've somehow managed to avoid it, but my entire office had it. It seems like the artist of every webcomic I follow has also caught it. Is this that bird flu that was gonna wipe us out?

Just watch out for grapefruit if you're already on medication. There's something in it that makes the effects of the medication much stronger. As in, people have accidentally overdosed on medication by eating grapefruits.

Hey, I hope you feel better :) And I hope you check comments when you get back! I ordered a book around the 21st of February, sent off an email around the 4th or March, and still haven't heard anything back yet. Should I resend or has there just been a huge delay for the last 3 weeks or so?

Yeeeaahh; I'm thinking that with the flu, I mean, real FLU, being up and around the next day was pretty optimistic.

Minor pet peeve of mine. If what's going around the office is making people sick as hell for two days, it's not the flu. Stop calling it that. Influenza will make most people feel like total crap for a couple of weeks. If it doesn't actually kill you, that is. Dood, it's like people have forgotten all about the great flu pandemic of 1918 or something.

As the joke goes, with a really bad cold you might be afraid you're going to die. With the flu, you're afraid you won't.
