Hi, guys. Sorry I haven't been blogging lately, but there's a lot to do with the second book being prepped for print, and my feeble attempts to close the gap on updates. They've been a little more regular, and I'm only a week behind, now! I hope to catch up completely by Saturday.
For those who don't read the comic unless I blog the updates, Ben's just been chewed out by Dr. Bash, and he's taking it... strangely. Lots of pages to catch up on.
And as I've been mentioning to anyone who'll listen to, the second Templar trade, The Mob Goes Wild," is now being solicited in Diamond's Previews!

These postcards go out to every comic shop in creation this afternoon to encourage orders. If you'd like to order the book through Diamond, give your retailer the code MAY08 3931.
...or you could wait for the PRE-ORDER PAGE to go up on Tuesday or Wednesday or thereabouts.
More later!
I love how the post card gives you a good size comparison. Mostly because I sympathize with Ben because all of my friends tower over me too.
I had to reread the comic to understand it but... you know that one page suddenly makes a lot of things make sense...
Oh and Dr Bash? Dr Ass!
He's about to throw out his psych meds, isn't he?
... aw Ben...
Now, while I did just fine [boy is that a horrible overstatement; I was a mess], after going off my meds, somehow I'm not entirely convinced that that's a good idea for Ben.

...somewhere several strips ago, I posted that I expected the upcoming plot developments to be farcically funny as the misunderstandings between Ben and Dr. Bash came to light. I was completely wrong. Spike, you so often manage to go off in a totally different direction than what I'm thinking, and usually in an amazing and interesting way.
or he could just be taking a shit. people do that sometimes, you know.
Hahah, yes. I was commenting to a friend that if it was *any other comic,* those scenes with Dr. Bash would have played out that way... the "I don't think you're done" would have turned into a tearful exposition about everything that's going wrong with his life (screaming or no screaming), because Ben was just the first one to actually LISTEN, to actually CARE.
But... yeah. These characters all feel like genuine people. :D Awesome.
The last panel of Ben glaring at the thumping ceiling excites me.
What is that thumping? I'm sure my instincts will be incorrect.
Ooo, please tell us that the shirt you mentioned in Twitter is for Phineas Rage. 'Cause, Borndown would be cool, but Moscowbilly Klezcore would be awesome.
Question...Will we be able to order the book through the site like before, or will we have to get it through the other place?
Today's Nature magazine had an article about how flushing your meds causes pharmaceuticals in the water supply, along with all kinds of other unpleasant stuff. In parts per million, but they're still not really sure whether it's having affects one way or another.
Also, he's about to make a drastic move and then he's interrupted by ceiling thumpage? Priceless.
