You know what's the worst thing when you're doing things that are harmful for the inside of your eyes ? (like looking at a solar eclipse without protection goggles)
You don't feel anything. There are no captors to feel pain or heat inside your eyes. Your corneas are burning and you don't feel anything...
If I remember back to my Astronomy 101 days, it is possible I think to look at sunspots without looking through the binoculars, but by getting them to shine light on a piece of paper. I forget the exact mechanics of it but we did something similar with a telescope.
Since palms don't tan they probably don't get freckles. But. Freckles... sunspots... Irony much? :-)
Yeah, jdalton has the idea. I've done it myself; it's cool, though I never got the darn things focused well enough to actually see sunspots.
Freckle-girl seems a bit insecure, as in thinking it necessary to explain what she's doing so as to not look weird, but seeming a little weird because she offered an unasked-for explanation.
And we all know Ben was just nervous 'cause he was almost caught looking at a naked chick.
Ben looks absolutely handsome in the last panel. Which is a peculiar new angle on him. Cause I generally see him as being a goofy lookin' nerd. It's a little bit strange. haha.
why is everybody talking about Ben and his Asianess? The freckle girl is amazingly beautiful. But maybe it's exaggerated by miss anorexia in the last strip. :/
As a freckly individual, I'd like to point out that people don't generally get freckles on the palms of their hands.
That Arizona sun will do weird things to ya Benzene.
And here I thought Ben was polishing his wedding tackle to Mondays with Anorexia.

I'm just wondering what the stack of plates is for.
I think she's covering up. There was going to be some pedestrian bombing before she caught Ben spanking it.

For whatever reason, Ben look way more Asian than usual in the last panel. Also sexy...which is not a way I usually look at the character.
**shrugs**
"Sunspots, the neighbors... whatever catches my eye"

well, she was nice while she was here. hopefully her brain will melt quickly so she doesn't suffer.
Spike, she's beautiful and wonderful. Please don't turn her into a cannibal.
She's adorable! I'm totally shipping her and Ben. They seem to be made for each other.

Plates! Hmm, in the previous strip that stack of plates looked to me like a slightly-bent sketchpad.
Plates...?
