Panel Two: "Corpse."
Panel Three: "Drink deeply from the uncircumcised penis of a Nubian, dog."
And major, major points for anyone who can guess what the binders or for. It was the entire reason I wanted to do this scene in the first place.
Although saying as much to Sunny's face would probably be enough to get something thrown at you.
Aggressive self pity probably isn't the safest thing you can weaponize. It's effective, sure. But don't tell me it won't go up in your face like a ton of dynamite the minute you get too comfortable with it.
And their perpetual disapproval and disappointment.
Fuel for some. Discouragement for others. Grounds for capital murder for a chosen few.
Me, I don't like to restrict myself to just one.
And considering the fact that loads of pharaohs married their sisters and half-sisters, Uncle Shep probably thinks caring about your wife being your cousin is just about the silliest thing ever.
Ahhhh, the immigrant experience. Or rather, the experience of being the children of immigrants. Being born in America, and somehow, inexplicably, much to everyone's singular horror, turning out American.
It's about as common as church on Sunday, but the way Shep's going on, you'd think Moze hatched from a cuckoo egg.
And yeah, old Shepsesket is a little bit of a bastard. But professional fanatics convinced they're under siege can't really turn out any other way.
You'll have to page back to read the last few updates; I've been really bad about posting here. But Wednesday's incredibly cute, spot-on and flattering page has been provided by internet superstar Ryan Estrada, for Ryan Estrada Day!
I'm one of 70 surprise guest comics Ryan did... Yeah, I know it says "1/100" in the corner, but he didn't quite get that far... So go check all the webcomics you read to see who he's taken over for, today.
Enjoy! I'll be back with more comics Friday.
I bet you can hazard a guess who we might be seeing in this neighborhood.
Sorry, guys. I skipped a few blog posts, but not any updates, you'll have the page back to read the last of chapter three. And if you don't understand what you're seeing on the final page of the chapter, I don't blame ya. last we saw of that notepad was sometime in March.
This stuff definitely reads better in book form, or one sitting. Good thing I sell some, eh? Hint hint.
By the way, If you voted in that poll I put up last update: Thanks. I'm listening to you; A good chunk of time was spent last night making this. Hope you guys dig. We'll see where it goes.
