Templar: Chapter three ends, and an Intermission begins!

I bet you can hazard a guess who we might be seeing in this neighborhood.

Sorry, guys. I skipped a few blog posts, but not any updates, you'll have the page back to read the last of chapter three. And if you don't understand what you're seeing on the final page of the chapter, I don't blame ya. last we saw of that notepad was sometime in March.

This stuff definitely reads better in book form, or one sitting. Good thing I sell some, eh? Hint hint.

By the way, If you voted in that poll I put up last update: Thanks. I'm listening to you; A good chunk of time was spent last night making this. Hope you guys dig. We'll see where it goes.

Can I see a non-Facebook link? Please?

Yes, non-facebook links pretty please. :)

Thank you for the intercalary chapter about the neo-Egyptians. I do so enjoy these sections about the different groups and factions. Your comic is so imaginative, richly detailed, and one of the most unique works I've seen on the web (or in print for that matter). Thank you muchly for the regular updates and looking forward to future pages! This story looks like it has quite a ways to go yet before its done, so yay!

Yay, Nile Revivalists!! To be fair, when I first heard that phrase, I was picturing methodist tent and open-air preachers in Egypt.

He wrote something on that notepad when he realized Pippi had run away with his computer, didn't he ?

Yay, more Mose!

Very cool poster.

I'm looking forward to getting my next Templar book. Everything makes just a bit more sense in book format! :D

I like your opening page so much I might have to color it in.

Your Twitter yesterday lied to us.

Lies make the baby jesus weep.

Oh my god, is that dog plugged in to the wall???

No...but I think that arcade machine is :P

Maybe it's one of those rechargeable idogs.

Umm...Spike? If we haven't gotten our book package yet, should we worry? I only ask because my address will be changing soon, and I'd hate to have to chase it down.

Also, yay for a Nile story!!! They're my favorite part of things, mostly for the proof of your genius. *laughs*

I think its an old school gambling machine. Watch. Old beer can dick's gonna strike it huge.

It's obviously an animatronic peep show.

On a totally unrelated note, Spike, I made you a SPORE buddy so your creatures showed up in my game. Which was all well and good until one of your creatures started roaming around as an epic monster right near my next, an incredible cache of part-containing fossils, and two nests I wanted to hunt to extinction. I swear, your creation must have killed me 4 times in twice as many minutes.

Okay, if Moze pushed the "Bes" button, I will be both thrilled and delighted. It's just such an appropriate choice for him.

I thought it was one of those amusement park animatronic skill-game type things, where you use bean bags or a fake gun or something to knock down side-scrolling targets...

Chris, I just got my preorder book so perhaps yours is in the mail... You went down to the post office and set up mail forwarding, right?

Sorry for the random comment on this entry, I just REALLY wanted to tell you how much I love the way you draw freckles. I'm personally covered in them (much like the character you draw), and most of the time when they're done in art...well they make people look diseased. At 36 I'm also tired of the love/hate people have for them (some love them in a creepy flesh crawl DO NOT TOUCH ME kinda of way...others feel the need to tell you just how awful they think they are and how you'd be stoned out of some tribal groups).

Anyway...love it. LOVE it. And I know it's an utter pain in the ass to draw.

So thanks a million (which yes, is how many freckles I have)

PS: Obviously also a huge fan of everything else in the strip too. :)
