Templar: Well, the Queen of Britain married a cousin.

And considering the fact that loads of pharaohs married their sisters and half-sisters, Uncle Shep probably thinks caring about your wife being your cousin is just about the silliest thing ever.

Ahhhh, the immigrant experience. Or rather, the experience of being the children of immigrants. Being born in America, and somehow, inexplicably, much to everyone's singular horror, turning out American.

It's about as common as church on Sunday, but the way Shep's going on, you'd think Moze hatched from a cuckoo egg.

And yeah, old Shepsesket is a little bit of a bastard. But professional fanatics convinced they're under siege can't really turn out any other way.

"the experience of being the children of immigrants. Being born in America, and somehow, inexplicably, much to everyone's singular horror, turning out American" -- you hit that nail square on the head -- It's that same older generation versus younger generation "when I was your age" thing, only with a thick layer of "back in the old country" slathered on top. With your obvious insight into the human condition, it doesn't surprise me that people (like me!) are willing to fork over 30 skins to get printed versions of what is free online. I don't care if it is a long story! It's an >interesting< long story. Keep it coming!

Ehm. Queen of England. The people of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland would be moderately pissed off...

PS: Great comic as ever. :)
