However... I feel I should point out that your RSS feed isn't working, hasn't since about the 6th of February. I checked in since I hadn't heard anything for a while and found myself with a buttload of new comics to work through. You may want to prod your webmonkey about that.

Also, I feel I should say it's always slightly disorienting to look at how short Ben is next to the other cast members (like, say, Reagan)... and then remember he's taller than me. It's heartbreaking.

I think I remember reading somewhere that Reagan is either exactly my height (six feet) or an inch or two taller. I wish I could wear flashy little heels like her without falling over. (Although my husband is probably glad I don't.)
Also, I'd really like to watch the uStream more often, but I'm kind of scared to. I'm worried about potentially having something (big, like a plot point, not a little setting or character factoid) in the future of the comic spoiled for me since I don't know how freely Spike chats about it while she's working on Templar. Little details are okay, but I like the story unfolding at the pace it does for me. Are my worries groundless, guys? If the sketch posted in the previous entry is any indication, I'm missing out. :(
She doesn't give away huge things. She'll talk about little details sometimes, like little things about the characters that are always there that don't get remarked on or pointed out... like the way Ben eats like a heathen.
I've heard talk about Michael Jackson, Indigo Children, the OH NO VACCINES CAUSE AUTISM thing, um... horribly deformed children, some comic book stuff... the conversation veers all over the goddamn place. She drew a character who didn't make the cut into Templar the first time I was there and told us about him. That was extremely interesting. But no huge spoilers, no big reveals.
And even if Reagan is like six feet, I recall Scipio estimating Ben's height at about 5'2... I'm about 4'11 or just barely under. (I'm a grown guy.)
I still hates the Jakes.

The Jakes seem dangerous in more ways than one to me. Primarily because even though a lot of people seem to regard the Jakes as the sort of nutcases that Scip does, so many MORE people just meet someone like Feather who's just a gosh darn it good ole gal tryin' to do right by her fam'ly, and they wind up thinking the Jakes are just harmless hick crackpots . . . means whenever the Jakes DO mobilise like when we saw earlier in the chapter, nobody is really prepared for it, and they just overwhelm everything. They could REALLY do some damage.

This made me wonder. Does Reagan ALWAYS think she's sort of "mothering" Ben the way she sounds like she is in the last panel and is just unaware of how crushingly forceful her personality can be sometimes? (As opposed to Scip, who she just seems to enjoy getting a reaction out of, but she seems like she has his best interests at heart too, at least as she sees them. Especially in regards to Pippi.)

I love Reagan so much. It would probably be a real hardship to have to deal with someone like her in real life, but watching from afar she is endlessly amusing.

Oh man, I would totally read "Fantastic Lindsay" (I'm not a Twit, so I'm putting it here).
I liked Flannery up until the last two strips; first she should've just barged in with the gay comment like Mesmer did, instead of announcing it like...a damn lot, and second she's being a real whiner about Mesmer stealing her spotlight, just tag in! Sheesh!
I like Mesmer's aloofness, is he likely to stay in the story for a while or is he just in for a few strips?

Reagan's facial expressions are, to put it simply, GOLDEN. In the last panel, I can literally feel her glee over Ben's naivete through the page. "Lil' wheel an' a water bottle n' shit" made me giggle so hard that my roommate gave me a weird look. :D
