Oh, man, I have already heard way too much Numa Numa, but Angry German Kid is new to me, and fucking awesome. I do not believe it for a second, but it's a hell of a performance. _________________ the dreams ain't broken down here, nah, they're walkin with a limp |

Those of you who've seen the world's best animation film festival, The Animation Show, might remember this. If not, prepare for a treat.

Continuing to blur the line between organized sport and tribal warfare: New Zealand's national rugby team, the All-Blacks, dance a haka before a test match. This haka (traditional Maori dance) is a war haka, a threat display meant to intimidate the opposition, so it's heavy on the muscle-slapping, eye-rolling, and stuck-out tongues.
I love this. Lots. I'd steal it for Templar, if I could figure out how. |

| The Alligator King. A classic Sesame Street cartoon, probably conceived by a guy who had few issues of Zap Comix and Junkwaffel stashed under his bed. |

Oh, shit, yes. Checking that out as soon as I get home. I still remember the word "twelve" sung with seven syllables. (EDIT: What the hell, people. Okay, now that I'm a grown-up, I understand how goddamned little sense that whole thing makes.)
Also, I desperately need to search YouTube for Beavis and Butthead clips. I somehow found myself looking up the "Cornholio" entry on Wikipedia yesterday, and I was cracking up in the damned cubicle just reading it. |

Actually, I love that one too. I've long had a soft spot for that sort of orchestral, jazzy arranging that was so popular in the 70s and 80s. Oh, Herbie Hancock, where have you gone? |

That's hilarious. I wonder if I can get them to play that at the next Argonne Silent Film Night!
As a note, that video linked to this one, which is also pretty funny. _________________ Avatar artwork by Robert DeJesus. |

Hot on the heels of the classic Sesame Street cartoons; Sesame Street in Hindi.
Note that the YIP YIP YIP YIP YIP aliens transcend the boundries of our puny, insignificant human cultures. |

Get the shotgun, kids! Mom's gotta hankerin' for SQUIRREL MELTS!!
...
Although, honestly? I'd probably give 'em a try. The only part of the video that really grossed me out was the sheer volume of mayo she added to the "squirrel salad" mix. Yecch. |

That squirrel video had a real surreal quality to it... Kind of like Templar... It's like our universe, but not exactly...
Except that was real. _________________ Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee.
