Oh, wow. So did anybody hear about how Michael Richards (of Seinfeld once-fame) had some kind of insane racist freakout during a standup routine? YouTube's got video. If his career wasn't dead before... _________________ the dreams ain't broken down here, nah, they're walkin with a limp |

Ooh, and I have more wonders for you.
What happens if you're a 14-year-old Japanese boy and--perhaps unable to procure any dirty comics or regular porn--your primary sexual fodder ends up being sentai shows and magical girl cartoons? What happens when you grow up and move out, but find that you're now completely bent for watching girls in goofy outfits smack each other around in cheesy kung fu fights? There are still loads of sentai shows on, of course--there will probably be super-intelligent beetle people making them long after the human race is dust--but now that you're older, you find that you need something . . . more. More panty shots and squeals of pain, specifically.
Zen Pictures has you covered. Even better, they've got sample movies. Note how completely non-pornographic these things are . . . but how constant the pantyshots are.
Also, they've got Engrish story descriptions!
| Zen Pictures wrote: | Four beauty girls sneak into the hideout of ‘Teaching of Golden Venus’ when the girls ’ ‘precious ones’ are brainwashed by this evil religious organization,
and what will they find there!? It’s Golden Venus the Ultimate Evil, and Very Mysterious Silver Venus!
Scheming beastly goddesses confront the four girls fighting with the Holy Power.
With its boldly-conceived script,
‘Venus Ranger’ devotes nearly two-thirds of the story to the action sequences, shot with the audacious idea of using NO CGI whatever. It's the antithesis to our CGI-infected time, great collaboration of the actions from good, old Showa Period and the children of new Heisei Generations!! |

Alan Moore being... uh, Alan Moore.
Actually, this is a really great interview about Alan's opinions on religion, belief and magic. |

Yeah I heard about that, and in my honest opinion I think we shouldn't jump to conclusions. I mean what he said was horrible, but I think it's very likely that he was just under a lot of stress, snapped, and said the worst thing he could think of. And we've all been there. It doesn't excuse it at all, but I really don't think we should be branding a primarily washed-up celebrity as a racist just because he blew his top at a heckler, no matter what he said. |

I don't think he's genuinely racist, myself. I just think his reach exceeds his grasp. Spectacularly.
There are white stand-up comics out there who can scream "NIGGER!" and make it work. (Artie Lange on Howard Stern comes to mind first, primarily because he does it to make fun of people who use it as a slur.) But Richards can't. Maybe he's funny in other ways. I dunno, I haven't seen his act. But this very quickly stopped being a bit and turned into name-calling. He lost his cool in the worst possible way, didn't take being heckled in stride, and struck back the best way he knew how under pressure. Still, it's hard to imagine anyone fucking up worse than this. This really was in the poorest possible taste.
My first thought wasn't "OMG RACIST!", it was "This guy is totally shitting his pants in front of everyone. Plus, he sucks. Dude, you are so not Bill Hicks, stop trying."
Trying to be edgy and actually BEING edgy are two different things. The latter doesn't require you to remind the audience of how edgy you are repeatedly. |

This resembles a highly specific variant of the standard "guns and tits" low-budget movie genre. |

Do you mean cheesy direct-to-video action flicks, or stuff like this? (Not especially work-safe, my friends.) |

The direct-to-video stuff.
And I'm deeply ashamed that one of the first things I thought of when I looked at that site is "these girls have serious issues with muzzle control". Rule 1- Always assume that any gun is loaded, unless it's dissasembled on the table in front of you. This leads to Rule 2 - Never point a gun at anything you aren't willing to put a hole in. And that means that any photo looking down the barrel of a real gun was taken by an idiot.
The second thing I thought was "this girl is scarier than any zombies I've ever seen". |

I am very sorry to say that I have never heard of Burroughs before. I will definitely have to look him up, though. _________________ Many times I've lied
